Please Pray

Our vehicle broke down last week (very unexpectedly - they say this type of thing should not happen to a vehicle in this good of condition)and we are suppose to hear from the repair shop today how much it is going to cost. They already gave us an estimate of what it is going to cost and there is NO WAY we can afford that. We know God has a reason for it and we are waiting on the Lord! Thanks for your prayers!

Cars can be so frustrating! My car gave us problems a few months ago and cost a lot to fix. It's annoying to have to use money that you think would be used best on something else. The garage had it for almost 3 weeks i think, they had the engine apart like 5 times...We had to borrow cars so I would be able to get to work...frustrating!

Kelli, I feel your pain. Our van is still having problems as well. God is the Provider, and you never know how He will direct. I will be praying that He will give you wisdom on what to do. Paul Traxler saved me tons of money when I was up there - is he your fix it shop?

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers today! Don't worry, we checked with Mr. Traxler before we sent it away to Green Bay on Friday, but he said he didn't even know where to start! It seems like is is somewhat of a complex enigine. We actually had to have it towed all the way down to Green Bay because no one in Iron Mountain or Marinette would even look at it! That is foreign cars for you!
We should find out by the end of the day what the damage$ is! I am praying that it is under a certain dollar amount! The Lord can answer prayers specifically if He so chooses!
Thanks everyone!

The Lord never gives us more than we can handle! He'll provide for you - you're His child! Prov. 3:5-6

grrrrr, cars can be so frustrating! especially when you really depend on them. i'm reminded of the verse in psalm 20 (forgive the informal paraphrase): some men trust in chariots, some in horses, but we trust in the Lord God. i can't wait to see how God unexpectedly cares for your vehicle needs!

Kelli, I know how tough this can be! We just had to get our transmission fixed in our van. It ended up costing more than 2,000. We didn't have the money, but the Lord provided for us in a miraculous way. It was amazing to see it all come together. I know that He will provide for you as well! Just keep trusting in Him.
We'll be praying for you!

I echo Alicia's comments about cars. We hate to have to dump $$ into them. We'll pray that God will give you wisdom and direction as you find out the problem. (p.s. I think so many people have commented b/c we can all relate!)
