Snow!

Well, we are currently getting our first snow. It is a little early, but that is Wisconsin for you! We leave at 5 am tomorrow morning to drive to Superior, WI for a girls soccer game. They play UW Superior and then on Friday, we go to Minneapolis to play North Central. It should be a good trip, but a VERY COLD one! I am going to pack all of the warm clothes that I own! Hope you all have a great weekend!

I can't believe it. Okay, okay I can. I have too soon forgotten the crazy weather of Wisconsin after living there for 12 years, but have lived here for 2 1/2 and am used to when people say it's 'cold' here, I just smile. They have no idea. Anyways, I am ready for it to be a little cooler than 75-80 degrees. We hardly wear real winter coats, etc. here, and it maybe snows twice.

Hey Kelli,
Enjoy your snowfall. I certainly don't miss the snow -- but we don't get to enjoy any of the fall colors down here in Kansas. Good luck on your soccer game.

Are you and Heston still teaching 2's & 3's? I've been thinking about you guys and praying for you.

We feel you pain.... sort of :) I don't miss the early snow at all! It's still warm down here in Kansas City.

Snow! I knew there was a reason I was thankful for living in the south! I may wear a coat this year, we will see (chances are it will not get cold enough). Congrats to Heston and the girls on a great season so far. Hope it continues to go well.

I feel so LUCKY! Hawaii is a wonderful place to live, especially during the winter. :-) Hey, Sam will be gone and we have an extra room if you need a vacation from the snow. Hooray for year-round 80 degree weather! :-)

We have had a few days here too with snow, but nothing that stuck. Too bad I couldn't see you all when you were here in Mpls.

Poor girls having to play in the snow and cold! How did they do? We only drove through some flurries this weekend. We had a fairly snow-less winter last year and I'm hoping for a more snowy one this year. I love frolicking in the white stuff - all bundled up of course!

Tracy: yes, we are still teaching the 2's & 3's. We miss having Kara in there! We only have 2 girls now...

Ruth: We hope we can come visit you guys soon! I am not sure what our plans are for Thanksgiving...what are you guys up to??

Christina: We may take you up on that offer to visit Hawaii! I would love it!! Praying for you!

Janelle: I am glad you didn't bring your kids out in that cold! That would not have been fun! It would have been nice to see you!

Heather: You may have gotten more snow than we did!

Jocelyn: It would have been fun to see you at the game! Maybe next time!

Alicia: They won 1 game and lost 1 game. Hope you get some more snow this winter! I will share some of ours for sure!
